I take a highly individualized, interactive approach to educating students & would love to help your child be his or her best academic self! My credentials include an undergraduate English degree with honors from Stanford University and a Master's in Education from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialty in preK-4th grade and additional Orton-Gillingham training. I have first and third grade classroom teaching experience and a particular passion for tutoring students in early literacy. I myself experienced difficulties learning to read and was fortunate to work with a tutor who unlocked my love of learning. I also love to utilize my writing expertise to work with older students in the humanities & hold additional English and Social Studies upper-level certifications.
